Why is sex so completely synonymous with images of women? I, like the next girl, have no qualms about appreciating a woman’s sexuality and sensuality. But what would happen if you put a man, giving his best ‘O’ face? For him to arch his back and look back at the camera coquettishly? To have him grab his neck, spread his legs, stretch out his torso and represent maleness at hot, hot sex? Come on now, the sex symbol is always categorically limited to women. Sure, the Hot Bachelor photoshoot (or whatever its called) in Cosmo makes me cringe, but at least they’re somewhat breaking the mold by photographing the other half.
